  • Author Bio: Dr. Pei Zhao received her B.Sc. Degree in Physical Chemistry from Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China, in 2012. In 2015, She obtained her Ph.D. degree from Bremen University, Germany. Pei Zhao did postdoctoral research in Dr. Liangliang Zhu's group at Fudan University, China. After postdoctoral research, she joined Tongji University as an assistant research professor in 2018. Dr. Pei Zhao has authored or coauthored over 10 research publications such as Chem. Sci., Chem. Commun., J. Solid State Chem. etc. Her current research focuses on the organic-inorganic hybrid functional nanomaterials based on carbon dots
    Prof. Dr. Liangliang Zhu  received a B.Sc in chemistry from Zhejiang University in 2005, and a Ph.D. in Applied Chemistry at the East China University of Science & Technology in 2011. From 2011 to 2013, he worked in Prof. Yanli Zhao's laboratory at Nanyang Technological University as a Research Fellow. In 2013, he joined the group of Prof. Luis M. Campos at Columbia University as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist. He became an Assistant Professor at Fudan University in 2015. He has published over 70 scientific papers. His research interests mainly focus on self-assembled optofunctional materials. He is also a member of the youth editorial board of Science China Chemistry as well as Chinese Chemical Letters
