Tris (2, 2'-bipyridine) ruthenium (Ⅱ) (Ru(bpy)₃²⁺) dichloride was successfully immobilized into the galleria of layered gamma zirconium phosphate (γ-ZrP) preintercalated by butyl amine(BA). The compounds showed extended luminescence lifetime of about four times of unimmobilized metal complex.
