Guanidine hydrochloride:An active and simple catalyst for Mannich type reaction in solvent-free condition

摘要: Commercially available guanidine hydrochloride (GuHCl) has been found to be a highly efficient catalyst for the Mannich reaction. β-Amino carbonyl compounds were obtained in reasonable yields when the Mannich reaction was carried out at room temperature under solvent-free conditions.
