On the Crystallinity of Syndiotactic Polypropylene

A formula for calculating the crystallinity of syndiotactic polypropylene samples synthesized by metallocene catalyst with constant syndiotacticity has been derived on the basis of W AXD intensity and the graphic resolution method. The calculated by this formula values have been compared with those obtained by DSC and density measurements. They all give a maximum value at T_c(95℃) of the polymer, while the calculated values are more or less higher.
