The title complex M (mnt) (phen), M=Fe¹¹, Co¹¹.Ni¹¹, Cu¹¹.Zn¹¹.was respectively synthesized by reaction of disodium maleionitriledithiolate (Na₂ (mnt)) with corresponding metal complex M (phen) Cl₂.Charge transfer transitions in the absorption and emission spectra have been studed.
