The title metavanadates were prepared in argon atmosphere using vanadiumsesquioxide as a starting material. The optimum preparation conditions are:V₂O₃:Ln₂O₃=1:0.99,pass argon gas for 45 min at 0.5L/min,heat to 1300℃ for 5h.XRD analysis indi-cated the products were monophase.
