Synthesis and Analgesic Action of 3-Aryl-1(2H, 4H)-Acridone Derivatives

3-Aryl-1(2H, 4H)-acridones and the related acridine-fused pyridine and pyrimidines were synthesized. The structures of all compounds obtained were characterized by elemental analysis, IR and ¹H NMR spectra. Some of the compounds show significant analgesic activity.
