W-type zeolite W_QD-1 is successfully synthesized with industrial sodium silicate, aluminium sulfate and potassium hydroxide.The equilibrium exchange quantity of zeolite W_QD-1 in sea water and brine are 55 mg/g and 75 mg/g respectively.
