Synthesis and Characteristics of an Organic Derivative of Phosphomolybdic Acid with Weak Cu-N Bond

The reaction of E(EDTB)Cu](CH₃COO)₂ with H₃PMo₁₂O₄₀ in absolute ethanol produces[(EDTB)Cu](HPMo₁₂O₄₀)(C₂H₅OH)₆,in which EDTB is N,N,N',N'-tetrakis[(2-benzimidazolyl)methyl]-1,2-ethanediamine.A comparative study of IR spectra、UV-Vis spectra,¹ NMR and elemental analysis for the product and reference molecule[(EDTB) Cu](NO₃)₂ confirms the structure of the title compound.
