Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Polyoxymethylene and Polyamide 12 Blends

The Microstructures of polyoxymethylene/polyamide 12 blends(POM/PA12) were analyzed by SEM,FT-IR,DSC and WAXD techniques and mechanical property mea-surement.The results showed the existence of hydrogen bonds in the blends.Addition of PA12 caused the decrease of T_m of POM and increases of the crystallite size L₁₁₀ and the cell parameters of the blend.Crystallite size L₁₁₀ between 10.87nm and 14.89nm led to an in-creased thoughness of the blends.
