A novel class of nonionie fluoroalkylated poly(oxyethylene)-type surfactants has been prepared in good yields in three steps,namely O-allylation of polyethylene glycol (PEG),perfluoroalkyiation using R_FI/Na₂S₂O₄ and reduction.
