SYNTHESIS OF 2-PICRYLAMINO-6-(2,4-DINITROBENZOFURAZANYLAMINO)-3,5-DINITROPYRIDINE

The title explosive has been synthesized in high yield. It is an orange yellow solid with density of 1.84g/cm³, temperature of decomposition 310℃(DTA) and detonation velocity 807.6m/s,and without weighloss at 100℃ for 48 hours.
