Eight new title compounds 5_a-h were synthesized by condensation of 2-chloro-substituted benzothiazole and α-hydroxy alkyl (phenyl)phosphonate in yield of 51%~95%. Their structures were characterized by elemental analysis. IR. ¹H NMR and MS measurements.and their herbicidal activities were tested.
