Three methylferrocene derivatives have been synthesized: bis(methyldicyclopentadienyl iron) methane, 2, 2-bis (methyldicyclopentadienyl iron)propane, and 2,2-bis(methyldicyclopentadienyl iron)butane. Their compositions and structures were characterized by elemental analysis, mass spectra and NMR determination.
