SYNTHESIS OF β-(PHENOLESTER)ETHYLGERMANIUM SESQUIOXIDES AND THEIR EFFECTS ON CELLS IN VITRO

Eight compounds of (GcCH₂CH₂COOAr)₂O₃ type were synthesized. Their constitutes and structures were determined by elemental analysis and IR specrophotometry. Three of them were tested for antitumour activities against Hela cells in vitro, showing some tumour inhibitory activity. Their effects on diploid cell were not obvious in mitosis and shape.
