The effects of normal aliphatic alcohols (C₁-C₆, and C₈) on the demulsifibility of feur demulsifiers(block type polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene copolymer) for W/O type emulsion have been studied.The results show that the addition of alcohols (>1%)greatly enhances the demulsification and n-amyl alcohol is found to be the most effective.
