A novel trivacant heteropoly comolex α-Na₉[GaW₉O₃₄H₂]xH₂O was prepared and characterized by elemental analyses, anion charge determination, IR, UV, polarographic and thermal analyses.Trivacant heteropolyanion[GaW₉O₃₄H₂]^9- can react with some transition metal cations to form trisubstituted heteropolyanions with Keggin structure.
