ON THE THCHNIQUE OF GPC COUPLING WITH AUTOMATIC CAPILARY VISCOMETER IN POLYMER CHARACTERIZATION

The GPC coupling with an automatic capilary viscometer and its applica-tion to polymer characterization were described in this paper with particular emphasis on the effects of temperature controlling and wall flow during the measurement. In order to calculate the intrinsic viscosity the following relation has been used:<[η]>=ΣW_i[η_i] where [η_i] is the viscosity of eluted volume V_i.
