The interactions between copperion, amino acids and solid particles have been investigated.The ion exchange percentageE(%)-pH curves for tryptophane absorbed on amorphous Fe(OH)₃ are peaked, while the E(%)-pH curves for tyrosine adsorbed on δ-MnO₂ have a complex form of both "S-shaped" and "reverse S-shaped" curves, indicating the formation of type Ⅰ ternary surface complexes.
