Preparation of NiO-La₂O₃-Al₂O₃ Aerogel Catalyst

The superfine of ternary NiO-La₂O₃-Al₂O₃ aerogel catalysts were prepared by sol-gel method in combination with supercritical drying(SCD) technique. The BET, TEM, XRD, DTA and IR measurement results showed that the aerogel was similiar with the single Al₂O₃ or binary NiO-Al₂O₃ aerogel in surface area, apparent density, pore size distribution and structure, but exhibited a better quality. The ternany is easier to crystallize and form NiAl₂O₄ spinal structure and have a stronger adsorbability.
