Polymerization of Methyl Methacrylate(MMA) Catalyzed by Bridged Lanthanocene Amide as Single-Component Catalyst

The polymerization of MMA catalyzed by bridged lanthanocene amide as single-compoent catalyst has been investigated.The polymers obtained were characterized by GPC,FT-IR,¹H NMR and DSC.The results indicated that the conversion and the molecular weight decreased with decrease in polymerization temperature.The PMMA obtained was mainly in syndiotactic structure.
