Seven novel oxalate bridged heterotrinuclear complexes with general formula [M₂Fe(C₂O₄)₃L_x](ClO₄)(M=Cu,L=bpy,Me₂phen,NO₂phen,x=2;M=Ni,Co,L=bpy,Me₂phen,x=4) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis,IR,electronic spectra,molar conductance and magnetic moments (at room temperature) measurements.The complexes are suggested to have oxalate-bridged structures.The preliminary biological tests indicated that the antibacterial activities of the heterotrinuclear complexes are superior to the ligand.
