The-3-(4-aminophenylazo)benzenesulfonic sodium and 3-(4-amino-3-methylphenylazo) benzenesulfonic sodium have been synthesized via protecting NH₂ group in aniline o-toluidine by -CH₂SO₃Na and characterized by IR and ¹³C NMR.
