Synthesis and Characterization of Dimethylcyclo-pentadienyl Salicylato- and Ring-substituted Salicylato-Titanium(Ⅳ) Complexes

Six title complexes have been prepared from dimethylcyclopentadienyl dichloro titanium and salicylic acid, mercaptosalicylic acid, 5-nitrosalicylic acid, 3,5-dinitrosalicylic acid via aqueous-phase and two-phase processes. The IR and ¹H NMR spectra of the complexes are discussed briefly.
