2-Cyclopentlybenzimidazole was synthesized via the reaction of o-phenylenediamine and cyclopentlyacetic acid under microwave.Three new compounds were obtained from the reaction of ferrocenesulfonylchloride and the benzimidazoles.The new compounds were characterized by means of ¹HNMR,MS,and elemental analysis,and their inhibition activities against five microbes were tested in comparison with the 50% carbendazim wet powder.
