A series of new type substituted S-fluorouracil derivatives, 1-aryl-5-fluorouracil (4a-4f), were synthesized via diarvliodonium salts and the structure of the title compound was finally confirmed by IR, UV, ¹H-NMR, MS and CHN analysis.
