All-English teaching of professional courses aims to broaden students’ international perspectives and enhance their communication skills, thus improving the quality of innovative talent cultivation. This paper summarizes the preliminary experiences of all-English teaching Analytical Chemistry course at the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Lanzhou University, in the recent three years. It introduces the basic details of the course development and operation, analyzes the key challenges faced in teaching all-English Analytical Chemistry in the western region, and outlines the proactive strategies implemented by the teaching team. Additionally, it presents prospects for further improvements and the broader promotion of all-English courses.
