The Twists and Turns of Hair Metamorphosis

Perming is a popular hair styling technique and a way for people to pursue beauty. Through a fictional visit to a hairdressing exhibition, this paper introduces the brief history of perming, the chemical composition of hair, and the principles behind chemical perms. The aim is to demonstrate the importance of chemistry to human life, help people understand the pros and cons of perming in a balanced way, and promote a proper attitude to perming.
