摘要: Although mimicking protein functions using supramolecular systems remains a daunting challenge, the impressive work by Aprahamian et al. suggests that future efforts may focus on nonequilibrium rather than equilibrium states, and that combining dynamic chemistry with host-guest chemistry is a worthwhile direction for creating more complex and biomimetic smart molecules.
