  • Author Bio: Prof. Shaojun Guo is a Professor at Peking University. He received his B.Sc. in chemistry from Jilin University (2005) and his Ph.D. in analytical chemistry from the Chinese Academy of Sciences (2011). During 2011-2015, he worked as a postdoctoral research associate at Brown University (2011-2013) and as J. Robert Oppenheimer Distinguished Fellow at Los Alamos National Lab (2013-2015). His research interests are in engineering nanocrystals and 2D materials for catalysis, batteries, optoelectronics and biosensors.E-mail address:guosj@pku.edu.cn
    Prof. Yan Yu is working in University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). She received her Ph.D. in material science at USTC in 2006. From 2007 to 2008, she worked as a postdoctoral at Florida International University. After that she received Humboldt Research Fellowship and the Sofja Kovalevskaja award from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and worked at the Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research in Stuttgart, Germany. Her current research interests mainly include design of novel nanomaterials for clean energy, especially for batteries and the fundamental science of energy storage system.     Prof. Dr. Qiang Zhang received his bachelor and Ph.D. degree from Tsinghua University in 2004 and 2009, respectively. After a stay in Case Western Reserve University, U.S.A., and Fritz Haber Institute of the Max Planck Society, Germany, he joined in Tsinghua University at 2011. He held the Newton Advanced Fellowship from Royal Society, U.K. and the NSFC Young Scholar in China. His current research interests are advanced energy materials, including lithium metal anode, lithium sulfur batteries, and electrocatalysis. His citation is over 13000 times and his h-index is 61 now. He is selected as 2017 Highly Cited Researchers by Web of Science, Clarivate Analytics.E-mail address:zhang-qiang@mails.tsinghua.edu.cn
