HIGHLY ACTIVE CATALYSTS FOR CYCLOPROPANATION OF TETRAMETHYLETHYLENE

摘要: Copper (Ⅱ) Schiff base complexes derived from aromatic amine and salicylaldehyde were found to be highly active catalysts for the cyclopropanation of tetramethylethylene with ethyl diazoacetate. 82% yield of cyclopropanation was obtained with one of the complexes as catalyst.
