Authors have the right to appeal to the editors’ decision taken on their manuscripts at any stage. This commonly happens in cases that authors ask to reconsider a rejection decision.
First to send a rebuttal letter to firstname.lastname@example.org. The letter should explain clearly why you disagree with the decision on your manuscript, and should include a detailed response to any editorial and/or reviewers’ comments. Appeals with be handled by Editorial Office. If an appeal merits further consideration, the editors may send the authors’ letter to Deputy editor-in-chief and one or more referees to reappraise.
Decisions are reversed on appeal only if substantial errors of fact or evidence of bias and the original decision was made in error. The editor’s decision is final.
