A new ligand, formylferrocene 5-norbornene-2-carboxylic hydrazonc (HL), and its transition metal (Co2+, Ni2+ and Hg2+) complexes have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, i.r.and 1Hn.m.r.spectra.The single crystal of nickel complex has been obtained and determined by X-ray diffraction method.
