FORMYLFERROCENE 5-NORBORNENE-2-CARBOXYLICHYDRAZONE AND ITS TRANSITION METAL(I) COMPLEXES

Received Date: 31 October 1994

A new ligand, formylferrocene 5-norbornene-2-carboxylic hydrazonc (HL), and its transition metal (Co²⁺, Ni²⁺ and Hg²⁺) complexes have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, i.r.and ¹Hn.m.r.spectra.The single crystal of nickel complex has been obtained and determined by X-ray diffraction method.
