New tanthanide comptexes of acetylacetonate-meso-tetra-(4-pyridyt) porphyrin (LnTpypacac,Ln=Dy,Ho,Yb,Lu,H₂Tpyp=tetra-(4-pyridyl)-porphyrin,Hacac=acetylacetone) were prepared by reaction of Ln (acac)₃·3H₂O with H₂Tpyp and were characterized by elemental analyses,ultra-viotet spectra,infrared spectra and thermal analyses.
