Graft Copolymerization of MMA on Chlorinated PE

Graft copolymerization of methylmethacrylate on chlorinated polyethylene was carried out in suspension by initiation with benzoyl peroxide. The reaction conditions and chlorine content of CPE in relation to the graft efficiency, graft degree and conversion rate were studied. The structures of the graft copolymers were characterized by IR and ¹H NMR.
