In comparison of the ¹H NMR spectra of the long-oil alkyd resins,saturated fatty acid, oleic acid, and soybean oil and the ¹³C NMR spectra of the alkyd resins, it deduced that the valuable qualitative and quantitative information of alkyd resins can be obtained by using NMR technique
