C₆₀Pd(Ph₂POCH₂CH₂OPPh₂) complex was prepared in inert atmosphere via replacement reaction and characterized by mean of elemental analysis,IR,electronic spectra,XPS and XRD methods.The redox properties and thermostability of the title complex were studied,moreover the photovoltaic effect for C₆₀Pd(Ph₂POCH₂CH₂OPPh₂) complex to form n+n heterojunction on a GaAs electrode in photoelectrochemical cell was investigated.The result shows that I₃^-/I^- is the best redox couple in the photoelectrochemical cell.The photovoltaic property of C₆₀Pd(Ph₂POCH₂CH₂OPPh₂)-GaAs electrode at 1 μm for thickness of C₆₀Pd(Ph₂POCH₂CH₂OPPh₂) film is the best.
