Exploration of the Implementation Path of Ideological and Political Education in the “Dual-Track Teaching” Model: a Case Study of Analytical Chemistry Experiment

To elevate the quality of education and cultivate innovative talents with a balanced integration of “knowledge and skills” and “abilities and literacy”, this study advances the ideological and political education within professional courses. Utilizing a “stepwise teaching approach” in combination with “dual-track teaching”, the research takes the “analytical chemistry experiment” course as a case study. Beginning with the students and in line with actual teaching conditions, a comprehensive exploration of the ideological and political education within the course is carried out across three phases: pre-class, in-class, and post-class. The results demonstrate that the implementation of the “dual-track teaching” model significantly enhances the integration between professional courses and ideological and political education. This approach effectively addresses the challenges related to the time allocation in traditional experimental teaching and the mechanical repetition of operations. Furthermore, it accommodates the diverse needs and individualized demands of students, while fostering their innovative spirit and practical abilities.
