The two textbooks, Fundamental Organic Chemistry Reaction and Fundamental Organic Chemical Synthesis, cover two classes of core contents involved in a fundamental organic chemistry course, i.e., organic reactions and organic synthesis. Different from the classical organic chemistry textbooks, these books were organized in a modularization style and a micro-course mode. This article provides a comprehensive introduction to these series teaching materials.
