推进专业课程与思政教育融合是落实高校立德树人的根本。物理化学作为化学类核心专业基础课程，对学生的培养起着至关重要的作用。依据课程思政内涵，结合物理化学课程教学目标，从学科发展史、科学家简介、经典理论和方法、学科交叉、科学发展前沿以及物理化学在生产生活中的应用等6个方面挖掘梳理课程蕴含的思政教育要点，并进行相应的教学设计。同时给出了课程思政教学实践模式和评价方法。
