食用香料化学是面向香料香精技术与工程专业学生开设的必修课程，是食用香气仿真学和食用香精工艺学等课程的先修课程。为进一步落实立德树人的根本任务，充分发挥课堂教学主渠道的作用，在向学生传授食用香料化学专业理论知识的同时与思想政治教育相结合。把民族自豪感和中国特色社会主义道路的自信、勇于探索崇尚真知、追求完美永无止境、不怕吃苦、持之以恒、法制意识、社会责任、国际视野等内容融入食用香料化学的教学中，使学生在学习专业理论知识的同时，培养政治意识，树立正确的人生观和社会观。
