The shadow of vitamin B₁ follows the footsteps of human in the fight against beriberi. Mankind's understanding of VB₁ accumulates gradually, experiences a long and tortuous process, and finally comes to the truth. It is essential to the normal functioning of the body. Scientific spirit and scientific methods are proved undoubtly to be the crucial factors to overcome beriberi and discover vitamin B₁. Scientific development is endless, and people are still exploring new areas of vitamin B₁.
