A showcase of "Chemistry behind colors" was designed by National Demonstration Center for Experimental Chemistry Education of Peking University. This showcase is a scientific platform of real chemicals to systematically demonstrate principles of color according to related chemical theories. This paper mainly discusses the showcase and its design as well as applications in chemical education.
