Practice and Application of the “Online and Offline + BOPPPS” Teaching Model in Organic Chemistry at Traditional Chinese Medicine Institutions

Organic chemistry, as a fundamental course essential to traditional Chinese medicine and related disciplines, significantly influences students’ professional competence and future career trajectories. Addressing challenges such as the varying chemical knowledge levels among students and the limited diversity in teaching methods and assessment formats in traditional Chinese medicine institutions, this study introduces an innovative approach based on the “Online and Offline + BOPPPS” teaching model. Through the reformation of teaching philosophies, content, methodologies, and designs, along with the implementation of a multifaceted evaluation system, this model seeks to enhance student engagement, foster independent learning, and cultivate innovative thinking.
