Improved Calibration Method for Wet Gas Flowmeters

In chemical experiments, the calibration procedure for wet gas flowmeters is relatively straightforward, typically employing the average calibration coefficient method. However, this approach exhibits significant measurement errors when dealing with small gas volumes. This study presents an enhanced calibration technique—the segmented approximation correction method—and derives corresponding correction equations for different segments of the wet gas flowmeter. Experimental verification demonstrates that the proposed method achieves substantially improved measurement accuracy.
