The Application of the 6S Concept in Standardized Management of Instrumental Analytical Chemistry Teaching Laboratories in Universities

The teaching laboratory serves as a crucial space for experimental education, where the overall environment subtly influences students’ laboratory learning and the development of their habits. This paper primarily introduces the specific implementation methods and outcomes of 6S (SEIRI (Sort), SEITON (Set in order), SEISO (Shine), SEIKETSU (Standardize), SHITSUKE (Sustain), and SECURITY (Safety)) management in the Instrumental Analytical Chemistry Laboratory at Shandong University’s Provincial Experimental Teaching Center for Chemistry, tailored to its own characteristics and needs.
