This study presents a comprehensive experiment focusing on the design and synthesis of non-fused ring electron acceptors, along with the investigation of their photoelectronic properties. The experiment innovatively incorporates solar energy utilization and Suzuki coupling reactions into the curriculum, employing a “literature review-experimental manipulation-mechanistic exploration” approach to reinforce the fundamental chemical principle that “structure determines properties”. This methodology aims to enhance students’ experimental skills and data processing capabilities, while integrating principles of green chemistry. The approach effectively fosters students’ innovative thinking and collaborative skills, thereby providing a robust foundation for future scientific research.
