Polymer chemistry experiment course is not only a key approach to enhance students' experimental skills and practical abilities, but also an important link in cultivating students' innovative thinking and scientific research literacy. In order to significantly improve the effect and quality of experimental teaching, fully inspire students' intrinsic motivation of active learning and comprehensively cultivate their exploration spirit, innovation ability, and speculative thinking, our team carries out exploration and practice on the reform of polymer chemistry experiment teaching actively. Firstly, the teaching contents are designed carefully to ensure the relevance and practicality of knowledge. Secondly, the teaching methods are innovated to enhance the interactivity and creativity of experimental teaching. Thirdly, the teaching evaluation mechanism are improved to strengthen the assessment of the process. Finally, course ideology and political education are fully integrated into experimental teaching to realize the organic unity of knowledge impartation and value guidance.
