An efficient NMR determination of the enantiomeric excess of the amino acids can be achieved using chloro-bridged dimer R- (+) -{Pd [η5-C5H5)Fe (η5-C5H3CMe=NAr)] (μ-Cl)}2(Ar=p-CH3C6H4) (R-1).
